Youngjoo jang
Youngjoo Jang is a dance student at the Herberger Institute of Design and the Arts pursuing her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Education. She is a member of Jukebox Family and is also currently interning at Chandler High School. Jang has been featured in Tiffany Fox’s “ Deadicated Eye “ as well as Shreya Dabeer’s “ Equi.Valencez. “ Jang is grateful to her friends, family, and partner for supporting her throughout her journey as an artist. She is so excited to be apart of “ Mind Universe “ with the entire production cast.

Eva Rincon
Eva Rincón is a native Arizonian currently attending ASU to pursue a BFA in Dance and will be graduating in the Spring of 2023. This transfer student from Estrella Mountain Community College has jumped between disciplines since the start of her dance career in 2015. From a concert dancer, to a showgirl, to a Gogo dancer, and always a social activist, Eva’s eclectic interests have kept her busy and active throughout various communities in AZ.

Lawrence Fung
Raised in the concrete jungle of Hong Kong and the American Southwest, the presence of contrast has been a common theme in the dance works, films, and photographs that Lawrence creates.
The self-taught photographer and filmmaker has a particular interest in finding details and patterns in his worldly encounters. Inspired by the vastly diverse landscapes, urban architectures, and environments we live in, Fung finds purpose in uncovering the hidden layers and stories beyond what meets the eye. He uses visual language to draw his viewers attention to an encapsulating storytelling experience by exploring the theories of composition, color, scale, and choreographed camera movement all in relation to dance.

Esteban Rosales
Esteban Rosales is a Mexican-American artist who enjoys creating movement as much as he enjoys performing it. He earned his BFA in dance at Arizona State University in 2021 and has been weaponizing it at every opportunity since. He often finds romance within 1st-world tragedy and culminates it into arrays of bubbly or upsetting imagery. He takes pride in the complexity of his artistic tool box which holds training in hip-hop and postmodern contemporary modalities as well as stage production in lighting and sound. Within the next year or two, you can catch him dancing/ working productions across the valley of the sun, or playing with his cat.

Ry Reynolods
Ry Reynolds is a current student at Arizona State University. They are a Justice Studies major, Dance minor, and Disability Studies certificate. They hope to be a lawyer and dance teacher in the future. Ry has been dancing for 15 years, primarily training in ballet, but also studying other styles such as tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, and contemporary. They trained and performed at Ballet Arts in Tucson before going to Arizona State University. Ry is also a dance and Pilates instructor and has been teaching for three years at Animas and the Sun Devil Fitness Center.

Emma Myers
Emma Myers is currently a freshman at Arizona State University studying Recreational Therapy. In the future she wants to become an Occupational Therapist for kids with special needs. She has trained in dance and performed with ASU preparatory Winter Guard for 8 years. Myers is currently apart of Fenix Independent World, an ASU sponsored Winter Guard team. She would love to expand her knowledge by doing other opportunities that present themselves like the Call of the Void.

Alana Harris
Alana Harris is a current student at Chandler Gilbert Community College majoring in Nursing. After completing her pre-requisites at CGCC she hopes to get into the Nursing Program at ASU to obtain her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. When Alana isn’t in school she works as a barista at Starbucks and performs with an Independent Winter Guard in Tempe. During the fall she performs with the Sun Devil Marching Band Color Guard.

Luke Riviera
Luke Riviera is currently a third-year student at ASU majoring in Secondary English Education at the Mary Lou Fulton Teacher’s College. Luke started dancing contemporary, modern, and jazz their first year in high school through the color guard program and continued to do so outside of so until now. Luke currently performs with a the Sun Devil Marching Band Color Guard and an independent winter guard within the Tempe area and coaches color guard and dance along with their studies to become an English Language Arts teacher in the near future.

Jasmin May
Jasmin May is currently a student at Arizona State University studying Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education. She is from the Gilbert/Queen Creek area. She has been dancing for about 8 years and is also involved in colorguard, marching in the SDMB and with FeniX Independent winterguard: ASUs sponsored team. After she graduates, she plans on becoming a Kindergarten teacher and continuing to teach colorguard throughout the state.

Jordyn Lugo
Jordyn Lugo has been dancing for 7 years. She is a transfer from UC Irvine and has switched from Musical Theatre to Dance Education. Her work has been featured at Apollo High School for the Dance and Color Guard program as well as Wight Noise Dance Company. She hopes to attend the Disney College Program and work there in the future.

Alyssa Crowley
Alyssa Crowley is a current first year student at Arizona State University. She is pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Forensic Science and is also working towards a Dance minor. Alyssa went to high school at the Chicago Academy for the Arts and learned repertoire from the Joffrey Ballet, Visceral, Alvin Ailey, and Martha Graham.

Karly Idstein
Karly Idstein is from Crystal Lake Illinois and has been dancing since she was three years old. She has trained in styles such as: Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Ballroom, Tap, Lyrical, and more. She is currently pursuing a BFA in Dance at ASU but is switching to a BS in forensic science. She hopes to pursue a career in Forensics Pathology to one day work for the FBI. She has danced in the Undergrad Show, Transitions, and the Grad Show presented at ASU and wishes to continue performing until she graduates.
